History

1935: Roto Frank was established by Wilhelm Frank in Stuttgart, Germany

1938: Roto developed the Roto Tilt&Turn hardware technology with second-hand operation, which is still used today on modern windows.

1950: Roto Frank began establishing itself as Europe’s leading hardware manufacture

1979: Roto acquired Lapp-Finze AG (Austria) and established Roto Frank of America Inc.

2008: Roto changed its branding name, established Roto-Frank Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore

2011: Roto launched its Rotoi unique aluminum system, which was designed especially for the Asian market

2012: Roto acquired Fasco which became Roto Fasco Canada, Inc., aiming to expand its scale to the North American market

2016: Roto launched the accessories for Patio Innova Sliding System and Patio Alversa Flip & Sliding door system and also acquired Peder Nielsen, the accessory company, in Denmark

2019: Roto launched the new generation Rotary Flip accessory system, named Roto NX

Since 1935, the name Roto represents innovation and technological progress in system components for the construction industry. Today, with our broad corporate portfolio, 3 divisions, and 5000 employees in more than 45 countries, Roto Frank offers the best German window and door technology throughout the world. 

What will windows and doors have to do in the house of the future? And what do the occupants and users of a building expect from its openings? The people at Roto repeatedly ask themselves these questions and develop solutions that point the way to the future in response.

Roto has participated in the Vietnamese market since 1998 with its representative office founded in 2010. Owning more than 20 years of presence in the local market, we strive to bring our customers the best value for each project.

The representative office is in Hanoi, with a total of 3 showrooms, and partnered with over 500 clients who are door processing companies in Vietnam

Roto is now the world’s leading brand in terms of windows and doors hardware technology, has a total of 18 production sites over 4 continents, 41 sales subsidiaries, 28 logistic and distribution centers, and 3500 patents. Roto hardware has been tested the durability according to EN 1191 and corrosion according to EN ISO 9227 within 480 hours
